2013 archive

The 2013 environmentally themed film festival will take place over two weeks from 9th – 22nd February 2013 and we’ve got a great selection of films for all to enjoy. From a film about surfers to a film about Darwen from a Japanese anime to a Spanish language film and from Science Fiction to Science Fact.  The festival, celebrates the diversity of life and how this can have a positive impact on sustainable choices for our planet.
Partnership between Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council’s Environmental Projects &  Strategy Team, Clitheroe Line Community Rail Partnership and Darwen Town Council. Funded through the Designated Community Rail Fund of the Association of Community Rail Partnerships and Darwen Town Council.  The fortnight spans the half terms in Greater Manchester and Lancashire and it is the festival’s hope that as many people as possible are attracted from Clitheroe through to Manchester and beyond  using sustainable transport.  Contact sarah.urmson@blackburn.gov.uk for further information.
